Teeth Whitening

It is made by preparing personalized whitening plates by taking measurements from the inside of the mouth. Whitening gels are given to the patient to apply inside this plate. The desired result is obtained if the gel is applied for 10-15 days by wearing the plaque for 4-6 hours (usually before sleeping).
Office type whitening is applied in the clinic. It is the method preferred by patients who want to achieve results in a short time. The office method, applied by activating the whitening gel applied on the teeth by the physician with the help of UV light or laser, provides an effective whitening of the teeth in a much shorter time. It takes an average of 1 hour.
The whitening process is done in a single session. For this purpose, the gums are isolated and a whitening gel is applied on the teeth. Special light sources such as laser, halogen or LED are used to activate the gel according to the decision of your dentist by looking at the structure and color tone of the tooth tissue.
The home whitening method is also done under the supervision of the dentist. At the first appointment, the dentist takes measurements from the patient's teeth and prepares a transparent plaque to be placed on the teeth with this measurement. This plaque, which is used by the person whitening at home, allows the patient to apply the whitening agent to the teeth and protect the gums.
Home bleaching takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour on average. A few days after whitening, the color of the teeth takes its final form.

Home type whitening process with gels placed on plaques created with the measurement taken with office type gives results in 1-2 weeks compared to the gel.
Without the supervision of a dentist, there is a high risk of damaging your teeth in whitening on your own. This is the main reason why you should go to a professional for teeth whitening, i.e. to eliminate the risks. We not only ensure that your treatment is safe, but we also give you a realistic idea of the results to expect and eliminate dental problems that are keeping you from a good-looking smile.
To eliminate this, your dentist may apply fluoride at the end of the whitening process.
The effect of teeth whitening usually varies between 1-2 years. If you do not smoke heavily, if you do not consume foods that will color the teeth, this period will be longer.
In addition, if the bleaching process performed in the clinic is supported by the bleaching process performed at home every 3-6 months, the time can be extended.
