Origi-nally made up of the city walls of Denizli Castle, the Bazaar covers an area of approximately 280x160 meters.Kaleiçi has been used as a bazaar for hundreds of years and has an important place in the collective memory.

Today, there are many shops in the bazaar where the "Ahi" culture is still alive. In these shops, various products, especially textile products are sold. Handi-crafts such as coppersmith, finial forging (alemcilik) and quilting are among the traditions that are kept alive in the bazaar.

IŞIKLI LAKE

Işıklı Lake is the story of a swamp that turns into a magnificent beauty. Today, Işıklı Lake is one of the best locations to be alone with nature. When the fishing season starts, "Heave Ho!" calls of the fishermen begin toresonate.

The nets that float slowly through the lake are filled with various kinds of fish. The first fish in the nets is the pike.

The lake is crowned with water lilies starting from mid-June and mesmerizes its visitors. Among elegant water lilies floating on the lake, eggs laid by the water birds are the most beautiful evidence of the life going on in the lake.

It’s 70 km from Denizli city center, Güney Falls is an irreplaceable a beauty with its wonderful location and water. It’s one of the most famous beautiful places in Denizli. Güney Falls resembles a secret paradise with waters falling gracefully from the top and mesmerizes its visitors.

One of the most important features of the National Park is that it is home to many endemic plant species that grow only in Denizli. The National Park is also home to many endangered animal species. The Honaz Mountain National Park offers many facilities for those who want to camp or have a picnic. The Park has fields and social facilities as well as designated picnic sports areas.

ÇAMLIK PARK

Çamlık Park, which is 3 km away from Denizli city center, is in a 30-hectare red pine forest. The best time to visit Çamlık park is between May and September. 
The vegetation cover of the field is species such as Pinus brutia, acacia catechu and Cupressus, maple. 

One of the most important things in Çamlık park is the possibility of the night picnics, Sports and entertainment. Activities are carried out at night because Çamlık park is safe and well-lit.

İNCİLİPINAR PARK

İncilipınar Park has been awarded a ‘Green Flag’ Award, which is given to 2.101 parks around the world. It is one of the largest parks in Denizli and the Aegean region. With its abundant water resources and its lush green nature, the İncilipınar Park stands out among other parks in Turkey.

The park hosts every shade of green and welcomes its visitors with a different beauty in each season. Colorful flowers and green leaves in spring and summer are replaced by yellow and red leaves in autumn, which give way to white snowflakes in winter. HOT-AIR BALOON

Balloon tourism in pamukkale started to be organized by the Turkish Air Association in Pamukkale, One of the most important tourism centers in UNESCO's world heritage list. Domestic and foreign tourists watch the unique of Pamukkale from the air and take lots of beautiful photos.

Paragliding activities started in Pamukkale and its vicinity with the World Olympics organized by Turkish Aeronautical Association in 1997. It is still actively practiced with the contribution of the paragliding associations founded in Denizli.

Denizli stands out among other paragliding regions thanks to weather conditions suitable for paragliding for 9 months of the year, the presence of various inde-pendent runways in different wind directions, the possibility to fly to different parts of the city (Pamukkale, Çökelez, Göveçlik, Babadağ and Nikfer) regardless of wind direction, easy access from the city centre to paragliding spots, being a suitable region for paragliding and offering suitable weather conditions for long flights.

KELOĞLAN CAVE

The Keloğlan(s) Cave, which was opened to visitors in 2003, is located in Dodurgalar. Resembling a large dripstones forest with its stalactites and stalagmites formed by calcerous water drops, Keloğlan cave is one of 14 caves open to visitors in Turkey.

The air in the cave is especially good for asthma patients. Animal bones discovered during surveys are also exhibited in the cave which has a 145 meter-long horizontal cave area open to visitors.

KEFE PLATEAU

The town of Yatağan is one of the settlements of the Oğuz, who came to Anatolia first. Kefe Plateau is located on the road where Yatağan and Honaz district are connected. On the Plateau with an altitude of 1100 meters; There are larch, red pine and juniper trees. 
 
In the Kefe Plateau, there are areas such as restaurants, markets, butchers and various sports fields, electricity, water, tents, picnic areas, WC, shower. 

It has been completed by Denizli Municipality and has been serving domestic tourism since 2000.Important events are held every year in the first week of August in the Plateau of Kefe.

BAĞBAŞI PLATEAU

The 1680-meter M2 ski lift reaches the summit in 5 minutes and 45 seconds. The length of the M3 ski lift is 1410 meters. THE ANCIENT POOL

According to a legend, Queen Cleopatra, begins to lose her beauty and looks for remedies. She orders her soldiers to find the water that is beneficial to her beauty and bring it. Soldiers scatter around the world and Pamukkale's precious Ancient Pool is one of the places the soldiers visit. Soldiers take samples from the pool's water and take it to Cleopatra to try.

Cleopatra rubs the water on her face and sees that her wrinkles begin to disappear. She immediately comes to this pool and dives into its warm waters. She soon regains her beauty. After that day, the ancient pool starts to be called the Cleopatra Pool.

The ancient pool located within Pamukkale city walls has a relaxing effect due to its water temperature and is also effective in the treatment of many diseases. According to research about the pool, its water offers benefits for heart diseases, atherosclerosis, blood pressure problems, rheumatoid diseases, skin, eyes, rickets, stroke and nervous and vascular diseases when applied externally and for stomach spasms when ingested. ANCIENT CITY OF HIERAPOLIS

Thus, Tripolis was an important center where the world-famous missionaries and bishops of the Lydian region were raised.

ANCIENT CITY OF LAODICEA

The Holy Cross Church mentioned in the Revelation and two other churches and many temples are located in Laodicea, one of the most important religious centers of the ancient Christian world. A verse in the Bible which starts with the words "To the angel of the church in Laodicea, write" had a major role in Laodicea's becoming a religious center.

The Church of the Holy Cross in Laodicea, which was brought to light in 2010, is also the first church to be unearthed out of the 7 churches mentioned in the Bible.

The Church of the Holy Cross, located behind Temple A, was built on 10 pillars.A narthex, naos, prosthesis, diaconicon and a baptize room can be seen in the church. Built in 312 A.D. the church is unique in the world in terms of its architectural features.
