How Apical Resection Treatment Is Done

Treatment begins with the application of anesthesia. The gingival flap is removed by making an incision. Some of the bones near the root end of the teeth are removed. The root end of the tooth is cut and pulled with the support of burs. In root canal treatment, the roots of the teeth at the root end are carved a little, and every open part of the tooth is covered with a waterproof coating filling material. When the cyst is removed, the remaining space is filled with bone grafts if any fracture has occurred. Finally, the soft tissue is closed with the support of the sutures and the apical resection operation is completed.
