HONAZ NATIONAL PARK

Honaz Mountain, which is one of the most important natural assets of Denizli, was declared as a 'National Park' by the decision of Council of Ministers No. 95/6517, dated April 21, 1995. One of the most important features of the National Park is that it is home to many endemic plant species that grow only in Denizli. The National Park is also home to many endangered animal species. The Honaz Mountain National Park offers many facilities for those who want to camp or have a picnic. The Park has fields and social facilities as well as designated picnic sports areas.
